A painter of note in oil, watercolor and pastel, Betty M. Kievit is a resident of Northern New Jersey, where she studied with Helen Van Wyk, Mel Stabin, and Joe Hing Lowe. Over a long and successful art career, she has shared her knowledge with students in adult education and private classes.
Betty has received wide recognition in numerous awards, one-woman shows, and has been featured in Palette Talk Magazine.
Her paintings are held in private collections, and at Rutgers University (A portrait of the late Carl Holderman, then Secretary of Labor & Industry of New Jersey).
