C. Loren is an enterprising young artist from Northern California. Her artistic ability was first recognized after receiving an award for a drawing at six years old.

Pursuing the arts through high school and college, she developed a love for working with colored pencil and acrylics. She has since illustrated several books, besides delving into photography and oils.

"In the past my artwork was strictly representational. That was a beginning, but now I'm attempting to bring visions to life: Images of beauty that may or may not tell a story. Rather than simply evoking dispassionate feeling, I want my artwork to arouse curiosity, stimulate interest, and stir the soul ... I don't take credit for the visions - just the painting of them, and even there I think I have a little help from above."
